Thoughts: This is THEE leia centric time travel fic. Leia is mysteriously (shhh plot reasons) transported from her end of TFA self back into her ANH self's body, and has to deal with, uh THAT. Lots of Leia & Anakin drama, Luke & and Leia goodness (and drama), awesome Bail and Breha, and many, many more. Features other great characters such as Ahsoka, Rex, Hondo, Obi-Wan, and Qui-Gon Jinn's interferring nosy busybody force ghost. Every chapter is so, so good. So much quality Leia Snarkiness™.
I wait with baited breath for the next update. Queens is far and away my absolute favorite Time Travel fic of ALL TIME and right up there with fia's DAV as my fav star wars fic EVER. Because chance is a LEGEND, she has also written AUs of this fic, which are in the Queens 'Verse colletion, as well as re-writing several chapters from other characters' POVs.
For Queens newbies, no, it's not abandoned. Chance just drops one novel length chapter per year and fucks off into the void. This is not her only massive MC WIP, and her other massive MC WIP also typically updates once a year with a novel length chapter, followed by chance (rightfully) fucking off into the void. Thoughts: If you like more scary and powerful Lucifer with some elements of comic lucifer, this is the fic for you. The writing in this is SO good, and the examination of a fuck off powerful Lucifer and how that flows underneath canon Lucifer is fascinating in this fic. Plus, there's a really interesting twist on the monster arc, that is one of my personal favorite alternatives to it.
This line in particular from early on in this fic HAUNTS me:
"The last time the Firstborn had felt the presence of divinity on this scale, he'd been kneeling before his Father's Throne receiving the last orders he would hear from him for millenia: Help your brother get to where he belongs."

Thoughts: A shockingly non-spicy crack aphrodisiac fic, that is funny as all get out. Basically, this is the what if Caroline Bingley had access to an aphrodisiac? fic. HEA for ODC of course!

Thoughts: Nancy writes the BEST mushy ten/rose romance and I love that about her. Since this is a Nancy fic, you can absolutely expect badwolf!rose and telepathic bonding, though for this one, neither of those things show up until the sequel, but, uh, the undertones are there.

Thoughts: I don't know how to explain this fic but it's Caskett but with vampires and it is sexy, full of stunning worldbuilding, super long and with a really intriguing plot. chezchuckles gets that vampire stories are all about sex, sexual attraction (repressed or otherwise), and general sexiness and I am here for it.

Adrien had felt unsafe during those last few weeks, but, until he had woken up and seen Father silhouetted in his bedroom doorway, that had only been paranoia. Father was controlling and cold, but he wasn't hateful. Adrien was isolated. He was often hungry. And some weeks ago, when he had snuck out to visit Nino, sitting thigh-to-thigh on his bed while Adrien cried in that silent, crumbling way of his, he hadn't argued when Nino put a hand on his shoulder and said, tentatively, "That's abuse."
But Adrien remembers being small and Father touching his hair after he'd aced another test; Father holding his scribbled drawings like they were something precious, and framing them around his office; Father, dressed as Hawkmoth, his eyes wild behind the mask, lashing his sword against Adrien's baton; Father, collapsed against Mum, crying into her ashy hair.
Adrien finds out Gabriel is Hawkmoth, and Gabriel gets to bring his long-awaited plan into action.
Thoughts: This is soooo lovely and painful all at once. I love:
"Adrien loves her so much that he might die of it, too many emotions stuffed into his chest, too much of that easy, warm love for one human body."

Thoughts: This fic warms my art history nerd heart, complete with GORGEOUS citations. Lucifer models/poses/meets/fucks famous artists throughout time and space (and collects art). Chloe gets to know more about her partner/BF through stories and art.

A series 2 canon divergence fic starting with Tooth and Claw and following the changes through Doomsday.
Thoughts: TMMOT is THE doctor/rose fic (and nancy's magnum opus). Nancy's retelling of S2 and beyond starting with one small change that blossoms into something new and wonderful is awesome and sooo engaging. So many familiar faces get interesting new stories, and there is sooo much delightful doctor/rose mushy romance! The whole series is still on going and delights me every time Nancy returns from the void with new material. This is an all doctors/rose 'verse.

Thoughts: okay this is probably like my #1 human nature with rose fic. This fic is so bittersweet and I just LOVE the way the doctor realises that he has a family with the tylers -- Jackie included.

Thoughts: Beautiful and heartwrenching; I teared up several times while reading this fic. I loved how the character of Annie was created, and all the little details of light around the characters that she sees. The image of limbo also being a hall spirits nameless and waiting was really beautiful and haunting as well. First person POV from an original character. Addresses heavy themes with a gentle hand. Unseen lingered with me for a long time after I finished reading it.

She opens her eyes to her boyfriend's dad standing behind her, his eyes intent on her mother, who looks like she's about to blow her top. Annabeth doesn't breathe, doesn't look away from Athena, but she takes several quick steps back to stand at Poseidon's side. It's not conscious; it's a move based purely on self-preservation. Still, Annabeth is aware that every step she takes into the sea increases her mother's ire and decreases the likelihood that Annabeth will ever be forgiven.
aka: Poseidon wants Percy to ascend. He'd like it even better if Percy chose to ascend. And if the best reason to become a god is for love, it doesn't take Poseidon long to realize that he doesn't have to look any further than Annabeth Chase. Meanwhile, while Annabeth is balancing PTSD, protecting Percy, and being a good daughter of a goddess who doesn't seem to care, she now has to figure out why she is on Poseidon's radar.

An alternate take on the 5x09 Family Dinner scene wherein Lucifer decides to give his father a taste of his own medicine, and visits Chloe afterward for comfort.
Thoughts: always losing my mind over this line in particular:
"The peace and quiet are relaxing, especially when you're by my side. The silence isn't quite so deafening when I'm with you."

So she'd decided to do something about it. After all, what was the point of being able to traverse time and sense it so delicately to be able to change it if one didn't meddle from time to time? The girl agreed with her when they became one as the Wolf, setting things in motion and cascading ripples far back into both her own childhood and that of their beloved pilot, and even altering her very being from infancy…
Thoughts: This is such a unique and sweet idea for how to make the doctor and Rose childhood friends. It definitely left me wanting more, but at the same time very happy with where it ended. Things from a wide range of canon materials are expertly woven into the AU, remixed as needed.

He hadn't counted on his TARDIS having other plans that involved parallel universes.
The TARDIS, for her part, thought it was fortuitous that her Thief happened to be investigating a rip in the fabric of dimensional reality that enabled her to be led back to her Wolf. So what if he neither knew who she was yet nor wanted to be there? What the TARDIS wants, the TARDIS gets. Besides, their Wolf needs them - will need them - did need them.
So maybe the timing was a bit off. It wasn't the TARDIS' fault that temporal tenses were difficult.
(Set after Classic Who Timeflight but before Arc of Infinity; set after New Who Doomsday before Journey's End. Segues into Children in Need 2008 Special "Time Crash". Reunion AU)
Thoughts: So much to love here in this AU reunion. The Doctor's wedding vows to Rose in this fic make me go a little bit feral actually:
"I was shattered. You glued me back together. The only reason this works, the reason I work, is because you were there for me. I've- I've never told anyone this before today, but I want everyone to know now. I was planning on trying my hardest to get myself killed the night I met you. I wanted to end it all. But you grabbed onto my hand and looked at me with such unconditional trust, something I'd never seen since the end of the war I'd just barely crawled out of, and I found a reason to keep moving forward. The silence hurt, Rose, but I could hear you."
"You're always saving me from myself, Rose," he murmured, voice thick with emotion. "I've been running all my lives, running without a direction, but with you I can stand still. When we're apart I run to you. I'm running now to stand still."

Labyrinth (1986)
Thoughts: I was so riveted when I first read this fic that I read all of it in a single sitting and stayed up until 2:30 in the morning reading it. I don't really have words for how compellingly the plot of this fic was drawn together. The fact that it's an epistolary novel makes it a somewhat unusual fic, but it's a format that works really well with the gothic romance theme. I was (as I suspect the author intended) reminded of Les Liaisons dangereuses (1782), and the things that I actually really enjoyed about it despite how much of a slog a good deal of 18th century lit is.

Thoughts: the arguments that Lois & Clark have throughout this are realistic and real to their characters and Sue really gets at some core issues in their relationship that the show doesn't explicity explore. Lois and Clark love each other so much and love makes fools of them both.

Thoughts: I LOVE Elinor SO much. This exchange in particular lives rent free in my mind whenever I think about this fic:
"Yes, you did indeed. Miss Elizabeth is a lovely and... intriguing young woman, but she is not my lady by any means. Any objections I had against Bingley's union with the family must obviously hold true tenfold for myself."
Elinor pursed her lips and raised an eyebrow, "Well, as we have determined that those objections are utterly invalid, and mathematically ten times zero is still zero..." she retorted as she walked out to her carriage. "Good day Mr. Darcy. I believe you still have quite a lot of soul searching to do."
He stared after her, amazed once again at Elinor's uncanny ability to read him like a book.
